Terms of Service

1. Who can use POPPED

POPPED is an 18+ only service. To join a live Pop Room you must complete identity and age verification through our verification vendor. You must provide accurate information, be legally able to enter this agreement, and not be barred from using the service under applicable law or by a prior POPPED ban.

2. The service

POPPED is a live, video-based social discovery platform. It includes live “Pop Rooms,” audio “Pop Lounges,” a discovery feed, compatibility-scored matches, in-app messaging, and an optional paid membership (“POPPED+”). We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login secure.
• One account per person. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to follow our Community Guidelines. You will not, among other things: harass, threaten, or harm others; post sexual content involving minors or anyone who has not consented; solicit money or run scams; impersonate others; use bots or scrape the service; or use POPPED for any unlawful purpose. Violations may result in content removal, suspension, or a permanent ban.

5. User content

You retain ownership of the photos, prompts, messages, and other content you submit (“User Content”). You grant POPPED a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and transmit your User Content solely to operate and improve the service. You are responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the rights to share it.

6. Live rooms & recording

Pop Rooms are live interactions with other members. By joining, you acknowledge that other participants may see and hear you in real time. Do not share anything in a room you would not want others to see. If recording is enabled for a room, you will be notified and asked to consent before joining.

7. POPPED+ membership & billing

• POPPED+ is an auto-renewing subscription billed through our payment processor, Stripe. Pricing is shown before you purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Manage POPPED+, which opens Stripe’s billing portal.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period.

8. Safety & verification

Identity and age verification are performed by a third-party vendor. POPPED does not receive or store your government ID image, selfie, or any biometric identifier — only a pass/fail result and a confirmation that you are 18 or older. See our Identity & Verification Notice. Verification reduces but does not eliminate risk; you are responsible for your own safety when interacting with or meeting other members.

9. Termination

You may stop using POPPED and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or where required by law. Some information may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy and where a legal hold applies.

10. Disclaimers

POPPED is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that you will form matches or relationships, or that other members are who they claim to be despite verification.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, POPPED and Pop Interactive LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for conduct of other users. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $100.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pop Interactive LLC from claims arising out of your use of POPPED, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or the law.

13. Disputes & governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State in which Pop Interactive LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. 14. Changes

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you (for example, in-app or by email) and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
