Community Guidelines
Last updated: June 29, 2026
POPPED only works if it feels real and safe. These guidelines apply everywhere on POPPED — Pop Rooms, profiles, messages, and the discovery feed. Breaking them can lead to a warning, suspension, or permanent ban.
Be real
- Every member is a verified adult. Don’t impersonate anyone or misrepresent who you are.
- Use your own photos. No misleading, AI-faked, or stolen images.
- One account per person. No bots, automation, or scraping.
Be respectful
- No harassment, bullying, stalking, or hate speech of any kind.
- No threats or incitement of violence.
- Treat a “pass” or a quiet room with grace. Rejection is part of dating — pressure and retaliation are not.
Keep it consensual and safe
- No sexual content involving minors — ever. This results in an immediate ban and may be reported to authorities.
- No non-consensual sexual content, nudity in rooms, or sexual harassment.
- Don’t share other people’s private information or recordings without consent.
No scams or solicitation
- No asking for money, gift cards, crypto, or financial help.
- No promoting other services, selling, or recruiting.
- If someone asks you for money, don’t send it — report them.
In Pop Rooms
- Be present and kind. The room only ever sees aggregate signals — never a public “rejection.”
- Keep cameras and conversation appropriate for an 18+ social space, not explicit content.
- You can leave any room at any time, and block or report anyone from the participant list.
Reporting & enforcement
You can report or block any member from chat, the compatibility screen, or inside a room. Reports go to our safety team. Depending on severity, we may warn, restrict, suspend, or permanently ban an account, and we preserve evidence and cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate. Certain categories — such as content involving minors, credible threats, or self-harm — are treated as immediate priorities.
Appeals
If you believe an action against your account was a mistake, you may appeal. Appeals are reviewed by a different team member than the one who took the original action.
